The Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC) is a major command of the United States Air Force (USAF), tasked with providing the USAF with nearly all of its operating and support capabilities. Its mission encompasses research, development, acquisition, test and evaluation, engineering and logistics for the entire spectrum of air, space, and cyber systems, as well as associated sustainment solutions. The AFMC supports the USAF's primary roles: Air Superiority, Global Integrated ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance), Rapid Global mobility, Agile Combat Support, and Space Operations. It is headquartered at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio.
